Privacy Policy

When you book, the professional you book with (the operator) decides how your booking data is used to serve you and is the controller of that data. Ojapest provides the platform that stores and processes it on the operator's behalf.

The details you enter to book: your name, the phone number or email you provide, the service and time you choose, and any note you add. We also keep basic technical data needed to run the site reliably.

We collect only what is needed to make and manage the booking. There is no advertising profile and no selling of your data.

To create and manage your booking, to send you a confirmation and a reminder, and to let the operator contact you about the appointment. The legal basis is performing the booking you requested and the operator's legitimate interest in running their business.

If a deposit is due, payment is handled by Stripe and charged to the operator's Stripe account. Ojapest does not see or store your full card details. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy terms.

We use a small set of providers to run Ojapest: Stripe for payments, Resend for sending confirmation and reminder emails, and Supabase and Vercel for hosting the database and the application. They process data only to provide these services to us.

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet the operator's legal and accounting obligations, then remove or anonymize them.

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to or restrict its use. To exercise these rights, contact the operator or reach us at hello@ojapest.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

The site uses a cookie to remember your language and, for operators who sign in, a session cookie to keep them logged in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

This section is about YOUR data as an operator, not your clients'. For your clients' data you are the controller and we are your processor; that relationship is set out in the Operator Agreement. For your own account and billing data, Andre Blunt Kft is the controller.

We hold: your name and email address, your account settings, your Stripe customer identifier, your subscription status and history, and the invoices we issue you. We do not hold your card number: that is entered into and held by Stripe.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of our contract with you, for running your account and taking payment. For the invoices and accounting records the basis is Article 6(1)(c), a legal obligation: Hungarian accounting law requires supporting accounting documents to be kept for eight years, so those records outlive your account and we cannot delete them on request.

Everything else about your account we delete when you close it, subject to the export window in the Operator Agreement.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, or to object to processing. Write to hello@ojapest.com.

If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will look at it properly. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority: Nemzeti Adatvedelmi es Informacioszabadsag Hatosag (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11 (postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9), naih.hu. If you live in another EU country you may complain to your own supervisory authority instead.

Ojapest is a product of Andre Blunt Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Andre Blunt Kft), a limited liability company registered in Hungary. Andre Blunt Kft is the contracting party under these terms. "Ojapest" is a product name, not a separate legal entity.
